I have been a keen photographer for most of my adult life but it is only recently, since I retired, that I have been able to devote adequate time to properly develop my photography. As with most things, the more time spent on something leads to improved quality and I am very pleased with the variety and quality of images I continue to achieve.
As well as spending time at the RSPB Minsmere reserve and SWT Lackford Lakes, both in my native Suffolk, I am always on the lookout for promising wildlife reserves and hides around the country. I also spend time in the beautiful Camargue, in the South of France, where many of my images are taken.
Whilst COVID restrictions have delayed many of my previously planned trips, in the near future, but likely now 2022, I am looking to travel to Kenya for big cat photography, Hungary for the many Spring birds attracted there and also to Romania and the Danube Delta again for the wide variety of birds and then into the Carpathian mountains where brown bears roam free.
I use a Nikon D500 as my main camera with a D7200, which I learnt with, being my back up. Lenses are again Nikon with my 200-500mm, in particular, and 70-200mm being favourites.
I have many images available as framed prints in stock for purchase and please see the gallery page showing those images. Should you choose an image not in stock so in need of printing then generally the turnaround time is about seven to ten days.
Whatever your requirement though, please do send me a message through my contact page and I will get back to you straight away.
I look forward to talking with you soon.
