I have been a keen photographer for most of my adult life but it is only recently, since I took early retirement after a thirty-six year career in finance, that I have been able to devote adequate time to my hobby. As with most things, the more time spent on something leads to improved quality and I am very pleased with the variety and quality of images I am now achieving.
As well as spending time at the RSPB Minsmere reserve and also Lackford Lakes, both in my native Suffolk, I am always on the lookout for promising wildlife hides around the country. I also spend time in the beautiful Camargue, in the South of France, where many of my images are taken.
I use a Nikon D500 as my main camera with a D7200 as a back up. Lenses are again Nikon with my 200-500mm f5.6 and 70-200mm f4 being favourites.
Hopefully you will like my images and be temped to purchase some prints, which I can provide mounted and framed.
After wolves and lynx...
